At only three months of age, Valencia’s mother noticed the cataracts forming in both eyes. His left eye soon was nearly unusable and he began holding it closed, finding his way through his first years through one cloudy eye. When Valencia was three, his farmer-father met a Lighthouse employee who shared HOPE. Both cataracts were successfully removed and Valencia can see the world for practically the first time. Vision is priceless, and so is that smile!!!
