Justin and Shannon Brown & Family
Justin and Shannon Brown have worked in East Africa since January 2009. Justin has his Masters in Business Administration and Shannon is a registered nurse. They have three beautiful girls: Hunter (12), Avery (10), and Braelyn (8). They started in Mombasa, teaching at Pwani Bible Institute and working with street children. In 2011, they transitioned to a small island off the coast of Tanzania. They lived and worked there for the last five years, opening an adult education center and a clinic in a rural village. They are excited to now transition back to where it all started- Mombasa. Justin will work alongside the mission director to help in all areas of the mission. Shannon will homeschool the girls and look for when and where God wants her outside ministry to develop.
Matt and Scarlett Trotman
Media & Stories
Matt and Scarlett joined our mission team in Jan 2018 to serve a vital role of sharing the story of Lighthouse through media. They are in Mombasa because they planted a church out of Freedom Church in the UK- they pastor and lead a great group of people. Matt also teaches at the Lighthouse Bible School. We are so glad they help us out with traveling to gather stories of patients, Bible students and churches. If you have seen any pictures or videos that we’ve shared recently, then you know how phenomenal our team is!
