At the age of four, Dennis Kashero began to develop a cataract in one of his eyes. His parents noticed there was an issue when he was struggling to see the blackboard in school and couldn’t perform basic tasks around the house. Dennis’ parents sat down and tried to figure out what to do about their little boy’s problem. Dennis’ neighbor instructed them to go to Lighthouse where they could receive help for any problem in his eye. At Lighthouse they were informed that it was a cataract that was causing this issue for their son and that he needed surgery. After a successful surgery, Dennis has been doing very well and his family thanks God, Lighthouse, and all the people that gave donations, making their son’s surgery possible.
