PRAYER OPPORTUNITIES

Evangelism - Pray that the Lighthouse staff and chaplains would have an effective witness. We share the Gospel daily with those who come to Lighthouse. Pray also for our outreach efforts at weekly rural eye camps. A local Lighthouse pastor will share the gospel with over a hundred per week that come for their eye care needs.
Fact: In Mombasa, a city of nearly 2 million – 80% are unreached people groups and various tribal religions. In the coastal outlying areas, many are from over 40 tribal groups.
Kenyan Staff - Please pray daily for our doctors, clinical staff, office help and chaplains.
Fact: With the expansion of the New Eye Clinic and Surgery Centre, our patient load has significantly increased!
Fellowship of Churches – Pray for our pastors and believers at each of over 40 Lighthouse churches and preaching points. Pray with us as we plan for new churches and preaching points in 2007.
Bible Institute – Pray for our Headmaster and leaders of the Bible Institute. We are in need of volunteer Bible teachers to teach our young men.
Fact: Lighthouse for Christ Mission annually trains 10-12 young men to become national pastors and workers in the local church. We have now added a 2nd stream of Bible Students who began in January 2007. We also provide training in a trade so that they can make a living.
