Teaching Doctors
Ophthalmic residents from the University of Nairobi rotate through the Lighthouse for Christ Eye Centre throughout the year. Bright and gifted students come to train and learn under our Lighthouse doctors.
Dr. Matende Ibrahim, Medical Director and gifted ophthalmologist, is on staff at the Lighthouse. Dr. Inoti Murithi recently joined our staff as Ophthalmologist in October 2006. Both doctors would like advanced training and local seminars given in such special skills as glaucoma, phaco, cornea, retina, occuloplastics and muscle surgery.
