Teaching Doctors
Ophthalmic residents from the University of Nairobi rotate through the Lighthouse for Christ Eye Centre. Bright and gifted students come to train and learn. Dr. Ibrahim Matende, a gifted ophthalmologist, is our Medical Director at the Lighthouse. He desires advanced training and local seminars given in such special skills as pediatrics, glaucoma, phaco, cornea, retinal and muscle surgery.
